Sandy & Angela have an incredible wealth of experience in caring for children in the toddler phase of life!! Sandy's curriculums clearly display an understanding of the children's needs and provide an amazing array of play experiences to support the children's learning outcomes.
There is a strong focus on social play activities ensuring the children develop a sense of self and are contributing to their world. Leading on from this many activities are designed to foster in the children their independence skills, for example social play in real life environments - hair dressers, camping, the beach, restaurants, going on a bus ride.
The toddlers spend time in our nature garden, helping to tend our flowers, herbs & veggies, which are then used in our lunches. Having time to explore nature in a tactile manner supports the children's understanding of their communities and allows them to express various emotions and experience different sensations.
This is just a small array of their learning through play!
